External Arb Systems (M8190A, N603xA, M933xA, or N824xA)
If you are downloading and installing the Signal Studio software from the Internet, verify or perform each step of the installation procedure in the order shown below.

Verify that your hardware and PC meet the requirements. |

Download and install the .NET framework (version 4.0) onto your PC. |

Download and install Keysight IO Libraries Suite 16.2 or later onto your PC. |

Download and install the N7621B Signal Studio for Multitone Distortion software. |
|
|
8. |
Determine the IO interface, configure the equipment and connect the PC. |
|
|
9. |
Check that the software communicates with the signal generator and spectrum/signal analyzer. |
The Signal Studio DVD automates much of the installation process for internal Arb systems. To install the software from the DVD, do the following:
Perform step 1 above.
Insert the DVD and follow the prompts.
Perform steps 8 and 9 above.
Performing these installation steps in the proper sequence is especially important when you are using an external arbitrary waveform generator.

Configure the National Instruments PXI embedded controller to support the N603xA/M933xA arbitrary waveform generator with the Multitone Distortion software. |

Download and install the N7621B Signal Studio for Multitone Distortion software. |

8. |
Determine the IO interface, configure the equipment and connect the PC. |
|
|
9. |
Check that the software communicates with the arbitrary waveform generator, signal generator, and spectrum/signal analyzer. |
For external Arb systems, you can use the Signal Studio DVD to install the Signal Studio software only. To install the software from the DVD, do the following:
Perform steps 1 through 6 above.
Insert the DVD and follow the prompts.
Perform steps 8 and 9 above.
