Controlling M9341B I/O Module

The M9141B Digital/Analog Module can be controlled by the pre-installed plug-in. 24 Bit I/O and Anlog In cannot be controlled. The M9341A/B I/O Module Driver must be installed in advance. Refer to http://www.keysight.com/support/m9341b.

Procedure

Front End Application Configuration

  1. Define the control sequence in the params... in Mode Section in DUT tab of the Front end application.  The control parameters are described in the following tables. Excel Template allows you to define the control sequence more easily. See the example.

  1. Complete your test plan and output the TAP plan file.

Back End Application Configuration

  1. Launch the TAP on the PXIe controller.

  2. In the menu bar, select “Settings” -> “Bench” -> “Instruments” to open the Bench Settings dialog.

  3. Select the bench profile you are going to use (“Site 1” in this example).

  4. Add “VNA”, “TSMon”, and “No Action” if they are not listed in this dialog. (In the AMX version 1.2.6590 or above, “No Action” must be added in this dialog if no external GPIB instruments such as a DC power supply or a digital multimeter are used in the AMX system.)

  5. Add “M9341B” and enter the VISA address of the M9341B I/O module. The M9341B’s VISA address can be confirmed by opening the Keysight IO Libraries Suite.

    <module> is Module No. (1 to 4)

  6. Delete “DUTMon” if it is listed.
