Query Syntax
:MEASure:EYE:DCDistortion?
Description
Moves the Duty Cycle Distortion measurement to the top of the Results table. Displays the measurement if it is not already shown on the table. The query form of the command returns the measured value.
Duty Cycle Distortion is a measure of the time separation between the rising edge and falling edge at the 50% level of the eye diagram (middle threshold). Duty Cycle Distortion is caused by ones having a different duration than zeros.
You can choose to view duty cycle distortion expressed as time or percentage (:MEASure:EYE:DCDistortion:FORMat) of the time difference relative to the full symbol period.
Use the :MEASure:EYE:DCDistortion:SOURce command to specify the real-time eye diagram on which to make the measurement.
Use the :MEASure:EYE:WINDow:LEFT, :MEASure:EYE:WINDow:RIGHt, and :MEASure:EYE:WINDow:METHod commands to change the eye boundary settings.
This measurement can be applied to NRZ eye waveforms but not PAM eye waveforms.
