Recommendation

Configure FlexOTO once using the GUI, and then save the configuration in a Setup File. Recall the Setup File A file that saves FlexOTO settings which can be imported at a later date back into FlexOTO to restore the saved settings. on the rare occasion when you need to rebuild the Hardware Diagram A FlexOTO pane where one models (draws) fiber-optic connections between test setup hardware blocks.. It is easier to use a Setup file than to write a script.

But, I still want to write a script!

OK, no problem. All the SCPI commands are included in the Programmer's help and there are example Python scripts to show you how it's done.
