IEEE 802.16 OFDMA Demod Properties Dialog Box
The
dialog box contains all the parameters and functions required to configure the VSA to demodulate and analyze 802.16 OFDMA modulated signals. The 802.16 OFDMA demodulator must be selected before this dialog box is available. To enable the demodulator, click
The
dialog box contains these tabs:- Format Tab Configures the 802.16 OFDMA demodulation and frame configuration parameters. A standard preset can be selected to auto-configure the VSA to a standard OFDMA signal and either an Uplink or Downlink Subframe measurement selected.
- Zone Definition Tab Configures the zone definition parameters and map file management parameters. The zone definition tab is also used to select either uniform zone analysis or data burst zone analysis.
- STC/MIMO Tab Configures the SPC (Space Time Coding) and MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. signal configuration parameters. These parameters are only available when a multiple antenna STC Space Time Coding (STC) allows the transmitter to transmit signals (information) both in time and space, meaning the information is transmitted by two antennas at two different times consecutively. zone type is specified.
- Time Tab Configures the signal capture configuration parameters. These parameters are used to select the pulse search length and to isolate a segment of the time record for further viewing and data analysis.
- Advanced Tab Configures advanced parameters used to manipulate the demodulator configuration parameters (such as adjusting the symbol timing) and the trace data results (such as specifying unique measurement data regions or whether to include error correction in the computed data results)
- Burst Profiles Tab Configures the uplink and downlink DIUC burst profiles. These burst profiles are used when the VSA is set to auto-configuration mode "Auto".
