Apply (Custom OFDM)
The Apply button applies the Frame Definition allocations and settings to the current Custom OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. measurement.
The Format > Allocations > Resource Interface selection is set to Type2 during execution of Apply Frame Definition process. The Frame Definition tab configured allocations and settings are mapped to the Format tab Resource Allocations array property, and associated Per Frame Part properties (i.e. CDM Group Subcarrier Count, CDM Group Symbol Count) and Per Allocation properties (i.e. Active Ports, Frame Part ID, Modulation, Power Boost Level, Resource Type Resurce Type specifies the function of the measurement subcarriers; preamble, pilot, data, All, UserN, Unknown, or Null subcarrier, User ID).
The Format > Allocations > All Data Streams Active checkbox is cleared (set to false) during execution of Apply Frame Definition process, since it includes writing the specified Multiple Antenna and Antenna Index values into the generated Resource Map.
