Pilot In Time Domain (Custom OFDM)

MeasSetup > Custom OFDM Demod Properties > Format tab

This parameter is shown in the Frame Definition tab and the Format tab. When Frame Definition > Apply is clicked, the value in the Frame Definition tab is applied to the Format tab (and the signal).

Pilot In Time Domain specifies whether Transform Precoding is enabled for the pilot.

Pilot In Time Domain is normally enabled along with selecting the DFT discrete Fourier transform Multiple Access Scheme, but not necessarily. If the pilot and the data are allocated on the same symbol, and pilot is defined in time domain and Data is DFT enabled, then the transform precoding/de-precoding is applied to them together. If the pilot and the data are allocated on different symbols, then the processing of pilot and data are independent from each other.

Selected - Transform Precoding is enabled for the pilot, and the pilot is defined in the time domain.

The Equalizer Use Pilots parameter is not available when Pilot In Time Domain is enabled.

Cleared (default) - The pilot is defined in the frequency domain.
