Eq Correction Spectrum (Flex Frame)

Trace > Data > Demod > Display CC > Eq Correction Spectrum

There are two types of traces in the Trace > Data > Demod menu that display component carrier data: CCn (component carrier is fixed), and Display CC (component carrier is dynamically selected using the Carrier Aggregation > Display parameter). When using Least Mean Squares equalization, filtering is applied to the Eq Channel Frequency Response trace to remove out of band responses. This can result in discontinuities that make the trace unusable for fixed equalization.

The Eq Correction Spectrum trace is provided without filtering for use as fixed equalization.

Steps to use EQ Correction Spectrum for fixed equalization:

  1. Save the trace to a data register (File >Copy Trace...)

  2. Select the data register as fixed equalization

  3. Select the Invert checkbox
