Range Tracking (Y Scale)

When the Range Tracking check box is selected, range tracking is enabled for the active trace. When the check box is cleared, range tracking is disabled.

When range tracking is on, the value of Reference Level is linked to the input range. Each time the range changes, Reference Level changes by the same amount.

Range tracking is disabled during a Y Auto Scale or Trace Auto Scale procedure or when the Y Per Division is changed. Range tracking is only available for certain, pre-demod trace data including Auto Correlation, Gate Time, Inst Main Time, Inst Spectrum, and Spectrum traces.

Range tracking is not available for these types of measurement data:

Any post-demod trace data
Math functions
Data registers (includes recalled traces)
Frequency response
Coherence

Range tracking is not supported for these trace formats:

Wrap or Unwrap Phase
Group Delay
Trellis-Eye
Real vs. Imag
