Y Scale Tab (Trace)
The dialog box alters the Y-axis scaling and positioning of data shown in the active trace.
- Trace controls: At the top of the tab are controls for selecting, adding, and removing traces.

Select the check box to make the trace visible on the display; clear the check box to remove the trace from the display. When the trace is enabled, the following parameters can be set for the trace:
- Y Unit selects units for the y axis.
- Y Auto Scale rescales and adjusts the y-axis to ensure that all points within the bounds of the x-axis are shown within the trace grid.
- Reference Level vertically shifts the trace.
- Range Tracking links the value of Y Reference Level to changes in the input range.
- Reference Position changes the position on the display of the Y-axis reference line.
- Reference Line hides or displays the Y-axis reference line.
- Y Per Division or Y Ratio compresses and expands the trace.
