RSF Parameters (802.15.4 HRP UWB)
The group configures the RSF (ranging sequence fragment). The RSF Parameters are part of the MMS (multimillisecond) signal settings and are only visible when PHY Mode is set to ERDEV HPRF, STS Packet Configuration is set to After SFD Start frame delimiter, no data (3), and the MMS Packet checkbox is selected.
specifies the total number of RSF segments present in the frame.
There are gaps between RSF segments. The RSF Avg Power calculation displayed in the Syms/Errs Table includes these in the average.
Choices: 0, 1, 2, 4, 8
Default: 0
defines the number of repetitions of the MMRS sequence within each RSF.
Choices: 32, 40, 48, 64, 128, 256
Default: 32
MMRS Parameters
chooses which type of sequence is used to create the MMRS.
Length-128 - complementary sequences of length 128 (code indexes 33-48)
Length-91 - ternary sequences of length 91 (code indexes 25-32)
Length-127 - ternary sequences of length 127 (code indexes 9-24)
Choices: Length-128, Length-91, Length-127
Default: Length-128
selects which sequence to use within the set of sequences chosen by the Sequence parameter.
Choices: Depends on the selected Sequence.
Default: 33
(only when Sequence is set to Length-128) determines how many zeros after each sequence. For Length-128 complementary sequences, which are composed of an A and B sequence, zeros can be inserted after the A and B sequences. Note that the zeros are inserted before spreading.
