Duplex Mode (LTE-Advanced)

Default: FDD Frequency Division Duplex: A duplex scheme in which uplink and downlink transmissions use different frequencies but are typically simultaneous.

Range: FDD, TDD Time Division Duplex: A duplexing technique dividing a radio channel in time to allow downlink operation during part of the frame period and uplink operation in the remainder of the frame period.

Duplex Mode configures the demodulator to demodulate either FDD (frame type 1) or TDD (frame type 2) signals.

The FDD selection is enabled by Opt. BHG, and the TDD selection is enabled by Opt. BHH. Duplex modes that are not licensed will be grayed out and not selectable.

While most parameters can be set differently for each component carrier, this parameter is required to be the same across all component carriers.
