Format Tab (LTE-Advanced)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > LTE-Advanced Demod Properties > Format(CCx) tab where x specifies the component carrier

The Format tab of the LTE-Advanced Demod Properties dialog box lets you configure parameters necessary for the VSA to demodulate the test signal.

At the top of this tab there is a set of buttons for selecting which component carrier to configure. The selected component carrier (x) is indicated by the green button and by the text "CCx" in the tab title.

Below is a list of the parameters in the Format tab:

• Duplex Mode (common to all component carriers)
• TDD Time Division Duplex: A duplexing technique dividing a radio channel in time to allow downlink operation during part of the frame period and uplink operation in the remainder of the frame period.
