Common Tab (LTE-Advanced)
The provides settings for configuring the component carriers in the LTE Long Term Evolution-Advanced signal you are analyzing.
Below is a list of tab configuration parameters (click on the parameter for more information):
- List of Component Carriers - the following columns are shown for each component carrier
- indicates the name of the component carrier (CCx)
- sets the serving cell index of the carrier.
- If selected (checked) for the CC, regular demodulation and EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. measurement is attempted. If unselected (unchecked), regular demodulation and EVM measurement are skipped, but the carrier is used in the computation of Cross-carrier In-band Emissions for carrier aggregation.
The limit test for Cross-carrier In-band Emissions requires one allocated (checked) CC and one unallocated (unchecked) CC. The limit test will not be performed if both CCs are allocated or unallocated.
- lists the VSA center frequency for the selected measurement channels
Shows "<Multiple>" when all selected measurement channels do not have the same center frequency.
- - shows a check mark for each measurement channel that contains the part of a component carrier's signal
Edit - edit the measurement channel assignments
Freq. Offset - specifies the expected frequency location of a component carrier, relative to the center frequency of each measurement channel
