selects MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. standard setup and preset configuration based on a Band Group 1 - 6 and the Time-Frequency Codes (TFC) and channels associated with that band group. See the MB-OFDM Standard Setups/Presets Table for the specific preset to standard defaults.
The channel values displayed with the TFCs are defined in the WiMedia MB-OFDM Physical Layer standard.
For each band group in the dropdown list, there is an selection. This selection presets by band group only and selects the Auto TFC checkbox on the Format Tab. The manual TFC selections (by channel) in each band group clear the checkbox and enter the selected TFC value in the text box.
