Using Standard Setups/Presets  (MB-OFDM)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > MB-OFDM Demod Properties > Format tab > Preset to Standard button

The Preset to Standard button selects an MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. standard preset configuration based on a Band Group 1 - 6 and the Time-Frequency Codes (TFC Transport Format Combination) associated with that band group.

The preset conditions are listed below:

Packet Avg RBW Resolution Band Width (RBW or ResBW): specifies the minimum frequency bandwith that two separate frequency spectra can be resolved and viewed seperately. For FFT (digital) based VSA's the process is equivalent to passing a time-domain signal through a bank of bandpass filters, whose center frequencies correspond to the frequencies of the FFT bins. For a traditional swept-tuned (non-digital) spectrum analyzer, the resolution bandwidth is the bandwidth of the IF filter which determines the selectivity.

5 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.
