Packet Time (MB-OFDM)

Menu Path: Trace > Data > Composite > Packet Time

The composite Packet Time trace shows the packet timing intervals for all occupied bands. If the trace reports DATA? instead of data, see Trace Problems.

This trace displays the transitions of the all three Bands, where each burst is a symbol-time of 312.5 nSec.

The Start time of the this trace defaults to -9.375 uSec for the Standard Preamble (30 symbol-times), or -5.625 uSec for the Burst Preamble (18 symbol-times). The Start time can be adjusted by up to 20 symbol-times using the parameter Pre-Packet Time. The Stop time is a function of the setting of the parameters Result Length and Post-Packet Time.

With Pre-Packet Time = 0 and Post-Packet Time = 0, set the Result Length such that the Packet Time trace goes exactly to the end of the packet. After setting these conditions, the measurement may need to be restarted to acquire the additional data.
