Result Length  (MB-OFDM)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > MB-OFDM Demod Properties > Time tab

Default: From Header (See MB-OFDM Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

Range: From Pulse Search, From Header, or Manual Override

Result Lengthparameters specify how much data is acquired and demodulated.

Result Lengthdetermines the total number of header and data symbol-times to be included in the packet length and determines the operating range for the Measurement Interval parameter. To review the Search Length, Result Length, Measurement Offset, and Measurement Interval actions and interactions, see Lengths, Intervals, and Offsets. The minimum 12 symbol-times means the Result Length consists only of the header symbols. Note that the entry must be an integer number of six symbol-times. If not, the instrument adjusts the entry to the next highest value. For example, if 13 symbol-times is entered, the instrument adjusts the entry to 18 symbol-times.

The Result Length and Data Rate settings determine the quantity of the Payload Octets. To learn more, see Payload Octet Calculations.
