parameters specify how much data is acquired and demodulated.
- From Pulse Search: The VSA automatically determines the measurement result length. The number of symbol-times detected within the burst is compared to the Max Result Length parameter and the smaller value is used as the measurement result length.
- From Header: The VSA automatically determines the measurement result length. The PSDU 1) PHY Service Data Unit, or 2) PLCP SDU Length in the Header (displayed in Header Info Data trace) is compared to the and the smaller value is used as the measurement result length.
- Manual Override: The VSA used the value entered in the text box as the measurement result length and ignores the number of symbol-times detected within the burst. The value must be a multiple of the 6 symbol-time steps.
Measurement Interval parameter. To review the Search Length, Measurement Offset, and Measurement Interval actions and interactions, see Lengths, Intervals, and Offsets. The minimum 12 symbol-times means the consists only of the header symbols. Note that the entry must be an integer number of six symbol-times. If not, the instrument adjusts the entry to the next highest value. For example, if 13 symbol-times is entered, the instrument adjusts the entry to 18 symbol-times.
