Modulation Scheme (TD-SCDMA)

Default:Auto (See TD-SCDMA Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

When Enable HSPA/8PSK parameter (Format tab) is selected, the Modulation Scheme mode parameters are activated. Modulation Scheme parameters specify Auto-detect for all code channels or Manual modulation scheme setup mode.

Auto-detect for all code channels Auto-detect for all code channels mode tests all code channels for SF1 and SF16 for modulation types QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying and 16QAM, then performs analysis based on the detected modulation type.
Manual Manual specifies the VSA modulator parameters that determine the TD-SCDMA modulation scheme used in the signal analysis: SF "Spread Factor", Chan and Mod Type.

The Enable HSPA/8PSK check box in the Format tab of the TD-SCDMA Demod Properties dialog box must be selected for Modulation Scheme parameters to be active. Enable HSPA/8PSK adds 8PSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM modulation analysis to the default QPSK modulation analysis for HSPA high speed packet access signals. Enable HSPA/8PSK supports modulation analysis for both HSDPA High Speed Downlink Packet Access and HSUPA High Speed Uplink Packet Access signals.
