Include Header Symbols (TEDS)

Selected (See, when selected, configures the demodulator in the following manner:
- header symbols are included in Error Vector Magnitude (EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format.) calculations
- header symbol data is shown (instead of the letter symbol table ) on your
- header symbols appear red on constellation diagrams and Error Vector displays. (Red is typical symbol color while white is the typical pilot color.)
Since header symbols are always coded in QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying, they appear in the "corners" of constellation diagrams, regardless of the type of modulation. This means as data they appear as hex 0, 1, 2, or 3. If you clear the Header Symbols box, the Header symbols appear white (typical pilot color) on the constellation diagrams. If you select , the header symbols appear red (typical symbol color) on the constellation diagrams.
