Typical Measurements (TEDS)

The measurement methods in the following topics are typical when analyzing TEDS signals and are samples of a nearly infinite number of measurement possibilities. Each measurement procedure assumes you have launched the VSA application and for consistency of information, each measurement uses a test signal (Normal Downlink, 25kHz bandwidth, 16QAM modulation). By using a test signal, you can review how to setup a measurement and how a measurement appears in the VSA application and then adapt a procedure to your actual hardware measurement.

Combined Measurements

For example, you can combine four typical measurements (below) in a Grid 2x2 display format: Constellation Diagram; Composite Symbols; Overlaid Error Vector Time; and Composite Error Summary.
