:CMODe:SNDRatio:RNComp

Command Syntax

:CMODeN:SNDRatio:RNComp {OFF | AUTomatic | CUSTom}

Where N identifies a specific common-mode waveform in the form "<connection1-8>_<ch1|ch3|ch5|ch7>". With connection 1, the connection number part (that is, "1_") is optional, and you can simply use the channel number "<ch1|ch3|ch5|ch7>". When two channels are paired to create a differential waveform and a common-mode waveform, the odd-numbered channel is used when specifying the waveform. For example, connection 5 common-mode waveform 3 (from the pairing of channels 3 and 4) is CMODe5_3.

Query Syntax

:CMODeN:SNDRatio:RNComp?

Description

This command disable disables RN compensation (OFF), enables compensation for oscilloscope RN (AUTomatic), or enables user-defined values for RN compensation (CUSTom).

If there are known contributors to random noise, you can use RN Compensation to compensate or remove noise from the measurement results.

When CUSTom is selected, use the :CMODe:SNDRatio:RNCValue:LEVel command to specify the appropriate RN compensation values for the symbol levels.
