:NETWorks:TRACe:STATus?

Query Syntax

:NETWorks:TRACeN:STATus?

Where N identifies a specific trace and must be selected from 1 to 128 {1:128}.

Query Response

{AVA | UNAV}

Description

Queries the availability of a trace for use. A trace becomes available (AVA) after it is defined and displayed. Available traces are not shown in the Signals Palette. An available trace's waveform may or may not be displayed. A trace is unavailable (UNAV) unless it has been defined using all of the following three commands:

• :NETWorks:TRACe:NETWork command.
• :NETWorks:TRACe:OPERator command.
• :NETWorks:TRACe:PARameter command.

A trace does not have to be displayed to be available.
