This topic describes the parameters of the tree view's Waveform Setup table.
This cell selects the waveform file to be played back. Only raw binary IQ data will be played. The default file extension is .bin. The file size must be a multiple of 64 bits and at least 1 kB.
This cell sets the binary format for the waveform file's data values.
Two's Complement |
This choice sets the N5102A module data format to a two’s complement representation of the data values. |
Offset Binary |
This choice sets the N5102A module data format to an offset binary representation of the data values. |
This cell sets the playing order of the waveform file.
Little Endian |
This choice plays the waveform file beginning at the lowest address of the file. |
Big Endian |
This choice plays the waveform file beginning at the highest address of the file. |
This cell displays the number of samples contained in the selected waveform. The number of samples is determined by the size of the waveform file selected.
The suggested rate is obtained by the presence of a sister file to describe the capture rate of the data (.bin.txt). The sister file is automatically created when a waveform is captured. For more information on sister files, see Using the Agilent 89601A VSA software.
If no sister file exists, "Not available” will be displayed.
This cell controls the sample rate for waveform playback. This sample rate setting also appears in the N5110B Playback Setup table, for user convenience.
|
The maximum sample rate depends on licensing, hardware system, port configuration, logic type, and signal mapping. |
This cell sets the destination of the captured waveform data.
Agilent 89600 VSA |
This choice captures
the waveform data to the Agilent 89600 VSA software for real-time analysis.
With this choice, you must also click the VSA |
Save to Hard Disk |
This choice captures the waveform data to a designated file on the PC's hard disk drive. |
When the waveform destination is Save to Hard Disk, this cell sets the path and file name of the destination file.
