Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"CALL:SETup:CHANnel:DOWNlink 10735"

CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink[:MCHannel]

Function

The setting form of this command performs two functions: (1) sets Handover Uplink Channel (UARFCN) to a specific UARFCN (see CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CHANnel ), and (2) sets handover uplink channel control to off (manual) (see CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO ).

The query form of this command returns the handover uplink UARFCN that is used by the test set when CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to off (manual). Note, when CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to on (auto), the handover uplink UARFCN used by the test set is determined by CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:DOWNlink .

The handover uplink UARFCN being used by the test set at any given time can be determined by CALL:STATus:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>UPLink[:CHANnel]? .

If the entered handover Handover Uplink UARFCN has an uplink/downlink offset of less than 30 MHz when compared with the Handover Downlink Channel (UARFCN) , the warning message "+217, Performance not specified for UL/DL frequency offset < 30 MHz" will be issued. The setting will be used as entered if not changed by the user.

CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CHANnel

Function

The setting form of this command sets Handover Uplink Channel (UARFCN) to a specific UARFCN.

Note, this handover uplink UARFCN is only used by the test set when CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to off (manual). When CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to on (auto), the handover uplink UARFCN used by the test set is determined by CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:DOWNlink .

CALL:SETup:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:SEParation

Function

THIS COMMAND IS OBSOLETE. The Handoff Uplink Separation (Band) setting has been replaced by the Handover Band Arbitrator setting ( CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel:BARBitrator ). Setting CALL:SETup:CHANnel:UPLink:SEParation to VMHZ45 sets Handoff Band Arbitrator to Band 5 . Setting CALL:SETup:CHANnel:UPLink:SEParation to any other value sets Handoff Band Arbitrator to Band 6 .

Sets/queries Handoff Uplink Separation (Band) .

When CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to on (auto), the handoff uplink UARFCN used by the test set is determined by this Handoff Uplink Separation setting and by CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:DOWNlink .

If CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO is set to on (auto) and you attempt to set Handoff Uplink Separation to a value that would result in an invalid handoff uplink channel based on the current CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:DOWNlink setting, an error is posted. With CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO set to off (manual), set CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:DOWNlink and Handoff Uplink Separation to a valid combination, then set CALL:SETup[:PCReconfig]:CHANnel<[:SELected]|:FDD>:UPLink:CONTrol:AUTO to on.
