Saving a Recording

Follow these steps to save a recording:

  1. Click File > Save > Save Recording...

  2. In the Save Recording dialog box, select a file format and type the filename. A recording can be saved using any of the file formats documented under Saving and Recalling Recordings.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Select options from the Save Options dialog box (except for SDF file format).

Signal Recordings for Source Playback

If you need this recording for source signal playback, you need to save the file as a MATLAB "*.mat" formatted file and select the "Save header with data" Save Option (File > Save > Save Recording...).

Saving a Segmented Recording

When saving a segmented recording Between playback start/stop times, the start/stop times will be expanded to include a whole number of segments (e.g. if the playback start time falls in the middle of a segment, the start time of the saved recording will be the beginning of that segment).
