PBCH Bits (LTE)
Mapped
Mapped, Descrambled, Deratematched, Decoded
specifies how much coding to undo before showing the MIB bits from PBCH Physical Broadcast Channel on the CW0/1 Decoded Symbol Tables. See 3GPP TS Technical Specification 36.212, Section 5.3.1 for a diagram of the coding operations performed on PBCH.
The following is a list of the available selections and the resulting bits:
-
- no bits for this channel will be shown on the . Mapped bits for this channel are shown on the Symbol Table.
-
- 480 (Normal CP 1) Contention period, or 2) Cyclic prefix) or 432 (Extended CP) descrambled (rate-matched) bits for each subframe 0 in a frame
-
- 120 deratematched (channel coded) bits for each subframe 0 in a frame
-
- 40 (information bits + CRC Cyclic Redundancy Check) bits for each subframe 0 in a frame
The PBCH decoder is On when is set to a value other than or when or are set to .
The same PBCH bits are shown on both and traces to allow marker coupling.
To determine the location of bits for this physical channel in the , use the DemodOFDMSubcarType key in the trace header. This key can be included when saving a trace to disk or can be accessed programmatically from the Trace.MeasurementData.State dictionary.
