Phase Track Average Length (MB-OFDM)

Default: 4 symbol-times (TFC 1 to 4) | 12 symbol-times (TFC 5 to 7) (See MB-OFDM Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

Range: 1 to 1000 symbol-times

Phase Track Average Length sets the length in symbol-times of the average that is used in tracking phase changes during demodulation. A lower value allows changes in the phase of the signal (as in phase noise) to be tracked more quickly, while a longer range allows the phase reference for the demodulation to be better smoothed and not respond so quickly to phase changes in the signal.

Phase Track Average Length is inactive when Auto CPE Filter Length is selected.
