Format (MB-OFDM)

Default:53.3Mb/s (See MB-OFDM Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

Range:53.3, 80.0, 106.7, 160.0, 200.0, 320.0, 400.0, and 480.0Mb/sec.

Format sets the Data Rate for your signal under test when the Auto Data Rate checkbox is not checked. When the Auto Data Rate checkbox is selected, the VSA will automatically set the data rate to what it finds in the header. Default for this checkbox is cleared. See Data Rates in the Overview section for a table of Data Rate parameters plus additional information.

The Result Length and Data Rate settings determine the quantity of the Payload Octets. To learn more, see Payload Octet Calculations.
