Selecting the MB-OFDM demodulator
Menu Path:
To set up the VSA to demodulate MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. modulated signals, select the MB-OFDM demodulator ( .
After selecting the demodulator, set up the configuration parameters. Use an MB-OFDM Standard Preset, which automatically configures the VSA, or configure the VSA manually from the MB-OFDM Demod Properties dialog box.
Example recordings
The 89600 VSA includes several example MB-OFDM signals that can be used to help you learn how to use the MB-OFDM demodulator. The included signals are listed in the Demo and Recorded Signals topic in the Getting Started book.
