PBCH/PDCCH/PDSCH/PUCCH/PUSCH Decode (5G NR/5G-Advanced)

PBCH/PDCCH/PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel/PUCCH/PUSCH Decode - Within the Decode Settings parameter group, a decode mode parameter appears for each decodeable physical channel. The physical channels shown depend on the DL-BWP/UL-BWP selection. For downlink (DL Down Link (forward link: from base station to cell phone)-BWP), you can decode the PBCH, PDCCH and PDSCH. For uplink (UL Up Link (reverse link: from cell phone to base station)-BWP), you can decode the PUCCH and PUSCH.

Default: Off

Choices: Off, Descrambled, DerateMatched, Decoded CB, Decoded TB

Off- No decoding is performed.

Descrambled - Descrambled (rate-matched) mode is used for decoding.

DeRateMatched - Deratematched (channel coded) mode is used for decoding.

Decoded CB - Decoded Codeblock mode is used for decoding.

Decoded TB - Decoded Transport Block mode is used for decoding.

The Decoded Symbols trace includes both payload bits and CRC Cyclic Redundancy Check bits when Decoded TB is selected.

For PUCCH Format 0, decoded bits is provided but it requires the user to provide the payload size information. The CRC is not returned in the Decoded Info because there is no CRC attached to PUCCH Format 0, so the display shows CRC=***.

For PUCCH Formats 1, 2, 3 and 4, when the UCI bit size (PUCCH bit number) is less than 12 bits, there is no CRC result, and the decoded bits are displayed in the Decoded Symbols trace.
