About Keysight Logic Analyzers with 89600 Software
The Keysight 89600 VSA software communicates with the Logic and Protocol software and can use any logic analyzer hardware supported by that software.
Overview
The Keysight 89600 VSA software analyzes time series data which are sequences of numbers representing the measurement signal sampled at evenly-spaced time intervals. This digitized time series data can be acquired from either an Keysight Vector Signal Analyzer (which utilizes an ADC Analog-to-Digital Converter to create the time series data) or, as in this case, from the digital data bus of an Keysight Logic Analyzer. For example, a cellular telephone digitized signal data can be analyzed at either the output of an ADC (VSA data) or the input to a DAC Digital to Analog Converter: A device that takes a digital representation of a signal and transforms it into a facsimile of its original form.
