The Pulse Building application uses a multiple document interface (MDI). The main window or main form, called an MDI container or parent, contains the child forms: Pulse Library Form, Pattern Library Form and Advanced Form.
You can create a Pulse Building Project file (.pbp). to save your project parameters for future use. You can also save multiple projects under different file names. See the File Menu topic for more information.
Each instance is defined as a running Pulse Building application executable (.exe). You can run multiple instances of the application and therefore have multiple projects running on the PC. However, the Pulse Building application supports copy and paste operations between only two projects. The copy and paste functions are discussed in more detail in the Menu Bar and Tool Bar section of this Help document.
When you start the Pulse Building application or create a new project, the main window displays the Pulse Library Form.
