:DISK Waveform Commands

Command Syntax

:DISK:WAVeform:SCOMpressed {ON | OFF | 1 | 0}

Query Syntax

:DISK:WAVeform:SCOMpressed?

Description

Turns on Save Compressed. Around 30-40% compression (or more with larger files) can be achieved, but it takes significantly more time to save than when compression is turned off. Loading compressed files, however, is just a little slower than loading uncompressed files.

This option is available for the following data formats as selected with the :DISK:WAVeform:SAVE:FTYPe command:

  • Waveform Files, HDF5 (*.h5) file type
