Query Syntax

:FUNCtionN:PARameters:USER:ABBReviation?

Where N identifies one of up to 64 possible operators {1:64} that can be defined as a one-input user-defined function. The operators are numbered in the order that they were originally added to the function.

Description

For the selected user-defined operator, returns the operator's abbreviated name. If an XML file was used to define the operator, the abbreviated name is specified in the file's XML <Abbreviation> tag. If this tag is missing, or empty, or if the user measurement was defined directly from a MATLAB (*.m) or Python (*.py) file, the abbreviation is derived from the XML, MATLAB, or Python filename.
