:INSTrument Connection Commands

Command Syntax

:INSTrument:CONNectionN:ADDRess {SICL | VISA}

Where N identifies a specific instrument by connection number and must be selected from {1:8}. For example, :CONNection2.

Query Syntax

:INSTrument:CONNectionN:ADDRess?

Description

Specifies the type of LAN connection to a supported Infiniium connection listed in the following table. Use the commands in the table to actually enter the address of the connection. Do not use this command for simulated or the real-time oscilloscope configured as a connection.
