:INSTrument Connection Commands

Command Syntax

:INSTrument:CONNectionN:CONNect

Where N identifies a specific instrument by connection number and must be selected from {1:8}. For example, :CONNection2.

Description

For the indicated connection number, connects to Infiniium.

This command does not apply to simulated instruments. Installing and connecting a simulated instrument only requires the :INSTrument:CONNection:SELection command.

Use an *OPC (Operation Complete) query to pause program execution while waiting for this command to complete.
