:TRIGger SEQuence Pattern Commands

Command Syntax

:TRIGger:SEQuence{A|B}:CHANnelN:PATTern:STATe  {HIGH | LOW | DCARe | RSLope | FSLope | ESLope}

Where N identifies a specific channel in the form "<connection1-8>_<ch1-8>". With connection 1, the connection number part (that is, "1_") is optional, and you can simply use the channel number "<ch1-8>". For example, connection 4 channel 2 is CHANnel4_2.

Query Syntax

:TRIGger:SEQuence:CHANnelN:PATTern:STATe?

Description

For the specified input channel, this channel selects the logic level or edge that should be included in the pattern:

  • HIGH — Logic level 1. A value is considered a 1 (high) when the waveform's voltage level is greater than its trigger threshold level.

  • LOW — Logic level 0. A value is considered a 0 (low) when the waveform's voltage level is less than its trigger threshold level

  • DCARe — Don't care (logic level 1 or 0). If a channel is set to X (don't care), it is not used as part of the pattern criteria.

    A pattern of all don't cares means no channels are part of the pattern criteria, and therefore, there will be no triggers (unless Auto sweep triggers are enabled).

  • RSLope — Rising edge.

  • FSLope — Falling edge.

  • ESLope — Either edge.

The pattern can include an edge identifier on one channel only.
