LAN and USB Connections

The oscilloscope rear-panels include LAN and USB connectors for remote control. Your script can send SCPI commands to the instrument when the script is running on the oscilloscope. You cannot send SCPI commands from a PC through the oscilloscope to an instrument.

You can remotely control an oscilloscope via the LAN or USB. Refer to the programming guide to learn how to establish control over the LAN.

Use the SCPI Server Setup to configure the instrument to receive remote programming commands.
