Use one of the following methods to transport a license from one N1000A to another N1000A (or from one PC to another PC) when both are connected to a LAN.

In this procedure, source and target refer to either an N1000A or PC. Licenses purchased for installation on an N1000A can only be transported to another N1000A . Similarly, licenses purchased for installation on a PC can only be transported to another PC.

In Keysight License Manager's Tree View,

  • Drag the source's transportable license to the target's IP address/hostname node. The license is automatically transported from the source to the target. Or,
  • Select the license to be transported. Either right click the license or, from the File menu, select Transport…. This opens the Transport One or More Licenses dialog. Enter the destination Host Name and click the Transport button. The license is automatically transported from the source to the target.

These methods assume that both the source and target are visible in Keysight License Manager's Tree View.
