Starting with firmware release A.06.90, 86100D Compatibility mode is no longer being actively tested and supported.

The 86103B module incorporates one optical and one electrical measurement channel. The module provides:

10 GHz, integrated, calibrated optical channel with sensitivity to below –15 dBm (P avg). Single mode or multimode optical signals. User calibration feature provides for consistent accuracy at any wavelength between 1000 nm and 1600 nm using an optical source and a precision optical power meter.
12.4 GHz and 20 GHz electrical channel
Switchable SONET/SDH reference filters for transceiver compliance testing designed to conform to ITU-TS G.957 and TANWT-000253 frequency response requirements, or to reference receiver specifications for Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet for transmitter compliance testing, depending on the option that is chosen.
Compliance testing at 622 MBd (OC-12/STM-4) and 2.488 GBd (OC-48/STM-16), or 1.063 GBd (FC-1063) and 1.250 GBd (Gb Ethernet), or 2.125 GBd (FC-2125) and 2.500 GBd (2xGb Ethernet) rates depending on the option selected
