:CONFigure:SWITch:WAVelength
Command Syntax
:CONFigure:SWITch:WAVelength "<switch>", {UNSPecified | WAVelength1 | WAVelength2 | WAVelength3 | ...}
Where <switch> is a string that identifies a switch.
Query Syntax
:CONFigure:SWITch:WAVelength? "<switch>"
Query Response
{UNSP | WAV1 | WAV2 | WAV3 | ...}
Description
For an optical switch that includes an internal tunable optical filter, selects the wavelength setting. The following table lists the optical switches that support wavelength selection. If the switch does not support wavelength selection, the query form of this command returns NAPP
, which is short for NAPPlicable
(not applicable). To enter the wavelength of the signal under test for FlexOTO rather that set a switch's wavelength setting, use the :CONFigure:WAVelength
command.
Switch | <switch> Argument Fields | Argument Examples |
---|---|---|
DiCon GP750 | "DiCon GP750 (<module-slot>:<module>)" | "DiCon GP750 (SL1:M3)" 1 "DiCon GP750 (SL2:X1)" |
DiCon GP600 | "DiCon GP600 (<module>)" | "DiCon GP600 (M1)" 1 "DiCon GP600 (X1)" |
The module identification strings (for example, "X1" and "M1") match the module identification label shown on Switch blocks. These example strings may not match the modules installed in your switch.

Always confirm the ability of a the switch to accept a wavelength setting and what selections are available. Your switch model/option may or may not include internal tunable optical filters.
