Where do I get Job IDs?

Query Syntax

:JOBS:RESults:SIMage:EXTension? <Job ID>

Where <Job ID> is an integer that represents the Job ID.

Query Response

{".jpg" | ".png" | ".bmp" | ".tiff" | ".gif"}

For example, ".png". Notice that the response includes double quotes and the period character.

Description

For the specified Job ID, returns the file type format (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, or .tiff) of image data that is returned by the :JOBS:RESults:SIMage? query. This allows you to append the proper file name extension when you save the data to a file.
