Transmitter Antennas (Custom OFDM)
This parameter is shown in the Frame Definition tab and the Format tab. When Frame Definition > Apply is clicked, the value in the Frame Definition tab is applied to the Format tab (and the signal).
: See Preset to Standard
: 1-64 (maximum is determined by the number of Input Measurement Channels configured)
The parameter specifies the number of transmitter antennas (MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. channels) to demodulate. When Cross-Correlated EVM is enabled, the maximum is half the number of Input Measurement Channels. When set to a value greater than 1, MIMO Configuration properties within Frame Part and Allocation become enabled.
With N transmitter antennas configured, the trace menu displays per-channel results (EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format., amplitude, phase) for all configured channels (e.g., "Channel 1 EVM" through "Channel 64 EVM").
