Time Tab (MeasSetup)
The
tab gives access to time-domain and time gating parameters. The time-domain parameters are:
-
Main Time Length: Sets the length of the main time record.
-
Auto Time Resolution, when selected, causes the VSA to automatically adjust the span when a is entered that exceeds what is allowed by the current span.
-
Max Overlap (Avg Off): Sets the FFT Fast Fourier Transform: A mathematical operation performed on a time-domain signal to yield the individual spectral components that constitute the signal. See Spectrum. overlap percentage used when averaging is off. This setting is grayed out and not usable when Segmented Capture is enabled.
-
Max Overlap (Avg On): Sets the FFT overlap percentage used when averaging is on. This setting is grayed out and not usable when Segmented Capture is enabled.
Time Gate
The Time Gating Parameters are:
-
: When selected, enables time gating.
-
: Determines the length of the gate time-record.
-
: Determines the delay for the gate time-record from the start of the main time record.
-
-
window used to derive gated, spectral displays.
: Determines the -
window type for non-gated spectral traces.
: When selected, the window type used for gated spectral traces is set to be the same as the
Analog Demod or Vector measurements.
tab parameters, except overlap settings, are available only forTo specify time record lengths in other measurement types, use the Time tab in the Demod Properties dialog.
