Scramble (TD-SCDMA)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > TD-SCDMA Demod Properties > Code/ID tab

Default: 0 (See TD-SCDMA Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

Range: 0 to 127

Scramble specifies the scramble code ID. There are 128 different scrambling codes, which are associated with a corresponding basic midamble code. Scrambling codes are cell specific and are used to identify separate cells (see TD-SCDMA - Code/ID Allocation Overview).

Code Group: Controls the allowable scramble code ID coding criteria as follows:

Selected: Only allows Scramble Code ID sequences that comply with standard coding allocation criteria.

Cleared: Allows non-standard Scramble Code ID sequence allocation.
