The Unrestricted Import Feature gives FlexDCA unrestricted capability to import data files into FlexDCA's:

Unrestricted import allows FlexDCA to import text based data files (.csv, .txt) and xml based files (.wfmx, .cgsx). This feature is enabled for FlexDCA if any of the following conditions are true:

  • An N1010100A package license is installed in FlexDCA.
  • Legacy license 200 is installed in FlexDCA.
  • FlexDCA is running on a DCA-X (86100D or N1000A).
  • FlexDCA on a PC is connected to a DCA-M module (N107xx or N109xx).
  • FlexDCA on a PC is running with a Flex-on-Flex connection to a DCA-X (86100D or N1000A).
  • FlexDCA is running as the data visualizer and measurement engine for Keysight's SystemVUE design software.

On N1002A instruments only, the following licenses will also activate the unrestricted import feature on FlexDCA. In this case, an additional N1010100A license is not required:

If unrestricted import is not enabled, then FlexDCA will only allow the import of digitally signed files. Certain hardware must have been present at the time of file creation for a xml based file (.wfmx, .csgx) to be digitally signed. Text based files (.csv, .txt) cannot be digitally signed.
