86109B Optical/Electrical Module
Starting with firmware release A.06.90, 86100D Compatibility mode is no longer being actively tested and supported.
The 86109B optical/electrical module includes an optical and an electrical channel. The optical channel frequency response minimizes distortion of the displayed optical pulse by not switching a SONET/SDH filter into the channel. The module provides:
- 30 GHz and 40 GHz optical channel. Calibrated at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. User channel calibration provides for consistent accuracy at any wavelength between 1000 nm and 1600 nm using an optical source and a precision optical power meter.
- 26 GHz and 50 GHz electrical channel
The minimum required 86100-series firmware version for this module is A.02.20.
