86111A Dual Optical Module
Starting with firmware release A.06.90, 86100D Compatibility mode is no longer being actively tested and supported.
The 86111A module includes two optical measurement channels. The factory calibration is performed using multimode optical source. The module provides:
- Two 2.85 GHz, integrated, calibrated optical channels with sensitivity to below –17 dBm (P avg). Wavelengths between 750 nm and 860 nm. User calibration provides for consistent amplitude accuracy at any wavelength between 750 nm and 860 nm using an optical source and a precision optical power meter.
- Switchable reference filters for transceiver compliance testing via channel configuration dialog.
- Compliance testing at OC-3, OC-12, Fibre Channel 1063, and Gigabit Ethernet 1250 rates depending on the option selected
- Measurement capability for multimode and single mode optical signals
The minimum required 86100-series firmware version for this module is A.03.01.
