86111U Dual Optical Module
Starting with firmware release A.06.90, 86100D Compatibility mode is no longer being actively tested and supported.
The 86111U module incorporates two optical measurement channels. The module provides:
- Two 15 GHz, integrated, calibrated optical channel with sensitivity to below –7.5 dBm (P avg). Wavelengths between 750 nm and 860 nm. Calibrated at 850 nm. User calibration provides for consistent amplitude accuracy at any wavelength between 750 nm and 860 nm using an optical source and a precision optical power meter.
- Switchable SONET/SDH reference filters for transceiver compliance testing designed to conform to ITU-TS (formerly CCITT) G.957 and GR-253-CORE and TANWT-000253 frequency response requirements. .
- Compliance testing at 1.250 GBd (Gigabit Ethernet) and 2.488 GBd (STM-16/OC-48) rates, or 2.488 GBd (STM-16/OC-48) and 3.125 GBd (XAUI) rates depending on the option selected
The minimum required 86100-series firmware version for this module is A.02.20.
